CHAMPIONSHIP CLASS TROPHIES will be issued to the following Classes:
* Winners of Single Fish Class Trophies qualify for the
SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL
Allocation of Championship Trophies is dependent on Societies fulfilling the Trophy Rules requirements.
Equally important is the RETURN OF OPEN SHOW RESULTS within the specified time following the event. Failure to comply will result in the non-issue of Trophies.
Classes may be sub-divided into more specific divisions
A - Furnished Aquaria & Aquascapes O - Guppies
B - Barbs P - Cultivated Livebearers
C - Characins Q - Swordtails
D - Cichlids R - Platies
E - Gouramies S - Mollies
F - Killifish T - Any Other Species Livebearer
G - Catfish U - Single-tailed Goldfish
H - Corydoras etc V - Twin-tailed Goldfish
I - Siamese Fighters W - Any Other Species Coldwater
J - Rasbora X b-m Breeders Teams Egglayers
K - Danio X o-t Breeders Teams Livebearers
L - Loaches Y - Junior Classes
M - Any Other Species Egglayer Z - Aquatic Plants
N - Pairs of Fishes
NOTE: Some species in Class K (notably White Cloud Mountain Minnows)
and some Loaches in Class L have been re-classified into Class W.
COMPREHENSIVE LISTINGS
The Federation's Brooch Scheme enables aquarists to total up wins at Federation-supported Open Shows and obtain Bronze, Silver or Gold Brooches to signify those successes.
Qualifications required
To qualify for a Bronze Brooch - 20 First Place Cards are required.
Silver Brooch - 25 more First Place Cards plus your Bronze Brooch.
Gold Brooch - 30 more First Place Cards plus your Silver Brooch.
The Gold Brooch is yours to keep; start all over again for that next Bronze!
IMPORTANT Cards do not have to be gained in any one season,
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HOST SOCIETY'S SHOW SECRETARY TO RETURN DETAILS OF THE SHOW TO THE FBAS
CARDS FROM UNREPORTED SHOWS WILL NOT QUALIFY TOWARDS ANY BROOCH
but must all be from FBAS-supported Shows.
