, but if you're in the middle of a successful period with your fish then why not share the good news with us too?

Hounslow & DAS are sad to announce the passing of Dave Brooks
after long periods of ill health.
Dave joined Hounslow after South Park AS ended and was highly
respected for his expertise in fishkeeping, Killifish in particular.
He was the 'official Judge' at the Society's annual River Dip where
his knowledge of anything (and everything) aquatic came into play.
He was notoriously warm-hearted and generous and will be missed
by all who knew him.
Our sincere condolences are extended especially to Angie at
this sad time.
Dave's Funeral: 3pm 20th December, Kingston Crematorium, Bonner Hill, Kingston KT1 3EZ
Another ex-member of South Park A.S., Eric Franklin , has passed
away after a period of illness. Although Eric moved home to the
Isle of Wight, he carried on with his aquatic insterests by joining
Island Fishkeepers, for whom he acted as Treasurer.
A coldwater expert (his home-bred London Shubunkins were eagerly
sought after) Eric was always excellent company with lively chat
and gave very knowledgeable talks to other Societies.
He and Mary always described their new life on the Island as 'being on permanent holiday' which could also be taken as a description of their 54 years together.
Our sincere condolences are extended especially to Mary at this sad time.
